SYNCEQUINE SPONSORS CENTAUR BIOMECHANICS

Working together to improve wellbeing for every equine

SyncEquine, the professionals in providing gold standard thermography to the equine and veterinary industry nationally, are today delighted to announce that for the next year, they are sponsoring Russell Guire, founder of Centaur Biomechanics.  Centaur Biomechanics founded in 2006, specialises in horse and rider performance analysis using leading software and techniques to create an improved understanding and to assist with maintaining the soundness of both horse and rider.

SyncEquine and Centaur Biomechanics have been working effectively in partnership over the past eight years and are now further cementing the relationship with this official sponsorship. It is the desire of both organisations to continue to educate the public on the benefits of regular monitoring and analysis of both horse and rider over time in a clinical, non-invasive way. Both organisations have animal and in particular, equine, welfare at heart and believe that the technology they use independently, their knowledge and their education, can ultimately help to improve awareness of animal welfare long-term.

As part of the sponsorship, Russell Guire is having two of the horses he rides screened by SyncEquine’s team of Technicians. Tresaison Roulette, owned by Rosie Bush, and Centaur Commador, owned by Russell, will be scanned at regular intervals during the competition season to monitor any physiological changes and overall performance. Both horses are already enjoying some success in dressage competitions this season, especially Tresaison Roulette, who recently achieved three top ten placings and a Regional win, qualifying for Nationals in April.

Russell Guire, comments, “I am thrilled to have the support of SyncEquine for this year.  I have been working with SyncEquine, part of SyncThermology, for a long time and see many synergies between our brands and the benefits both our non-invasive diagnostic tools have for horse and owner. I am looking forward to competing my horses this year and with the continued support from a company such as SyncEquine, who provide gold standard physiological imaging, I know they will be in good hands.”

Sophie Gent, Managing Director of, SyncThermology says, “We couldn’t be happier to support Russell and his horses. His passion for all things horse related in and around Centaur Biomechanics is commendable. We are proud to be associated with him as he is such a strong advocate of horse welfare. Russell’s courses are without doubt among the best the industry has to offer and I would strongly recommend them to anyone wishing to improve their equine knowledge. We wish him and his horses all the very best for 2017 and look forward to working with him.”

Russell’s progress and success throughout the year will be provided on the SyncEquine website, as well as on Facebook for all to follow.
