Baseline Screening‹ Full Conditions List

Invest Into Their Health!

Baseline screening is a valuable tool for any horse owner whether you are competing at the top level, a happy hacker or bringing horses back into work after a well earned holiday or an injury. The idea of baseline screening is to collect reliable data that can be archived for future comparisons. DITI is a test of physiology and is most helpful when used to monitor changes over time. In turn this can help to localise future injuries and signs of disease at an early stage. Understanding what is “normal” for your horse is a vital part of monitoring changes to their health. Our screening service can build an objective picture of your horse’s norm and provides a non-invasive way to monitor them throughout their lifetime.

The Benefits?

The technology is non-invasive, sedation free and affordable. Our team can visit your yard to collect data and screening is stress free for most horses. Once we have collected the initial data you will be able to use the technology to assist with diagnosis in the future, monitor changes and identify numerous conditions.

When is the best time to have a baseline scan?

Collecting data when your horse is healthy and sound provides a good scientific basis for future monitoring. Screening horses that have recently been purchased has also proven to be helpful along with screening before they return to work.

The Cost?

The cost of a baseline scan with SyncEquine is £100 and includes full body imaging, dynamic testing (exercise testing), post exercise re scan along with the archiving of all images in our veterinary system ready for future comparisons.

Demonstrations and yard visits are available with our team. Free screenings are also available for individuals that would like to organise a yard demonstration. T&C’s apply. Click here to contact the team!
